2D Röhrchen mit Außengewinde (SBS 48XT)
SAFE® 48 XT steht für 2D Röhrchen mit Außengewinde im 48er SBS Format. Im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Cryo-Röhrchen im Cryo Rack besteht der Vorteil des SBS-Formats vor allem in der gegebenen Automationsfähigkeit. Mit dem SBS Rack ist eine etwaige Umstellung auf automatische Probenverteiler problemlos möglich.
Ein Vorteil des Außengewindes: Je nach Anwendung können die Risiken einer Querkontamination verringert werden. Und hinsichtlich der Dichtigkeit müssen aufgrund der besonderen und patentierten Zwei-Punkt-TPE-Kompression keine Nachteile gegenüber klassischen Lösungen mit Innengewinde in Kauf genommen werden.
Im Gegenteil:
Aufgrund der zwei Kontaktphasen für die Abdichtung der Flüssigphase und
einer eventuell entstehenden Gasphase, ergeben sich mit diesem Screw Cap
die besten Dichtungseigenschaften für eine sichere
